Preparation for matcha green tea powder, in a 40g bag in a beautiful stylized box. This green tea is made from 100% Japanese tea leaves.

It is a recommended matcha for people new to the Ippodo Tea brand, as Sayaka is a lighter and milder tea with a hint of astringency. Its sweetness and umami are accompanied by a touch of bitterness.
It can be used in various matcha drinks, such as usucha (light matcha), koicha (thick matcha), matcha latte (matcha and milk) and iced matcha.

Made in Japan with 100% Japanese matcha.

Ippodo Tea - Green Tea Matcha Sayaka no Mukashi 40g

Ingredient: matcha (100% Japanese)

Preparation:

  • Usucha (light matcha): you will need 1 level teaspoon of matcha and 60ml of hot water at 80°C. First pour the water into the tea cup to cool it down to 80C°, then pour it into the tea bowl. Whisk for 15 seconds vigorously, forming an "M" shape. It's ready!
  • Koicha (thick matcha): you will need 2 level teaspoons of matcha and 30ml of hot water at 80°C. First pour the water into the teacup to cool it to 80C°, then pour it into the tea bowl just covering the matcha powder. Whisk for 15 seconds slowly in a back and forth motion. It's ready!
  • Matcha Latte: you will need 1 level teaspoon of matcha, 100ml of hot water at 80°C and 100ml of hot milk. First pour the water into the teacup to cool it to 80°C, then pour it into the tea bowl. Whisk vigorously for 15 seconds, forming an "M" shape. Add the hot or frothed milk to the bowl. It's ready!
  • Iced matcha: you will need 1 level teaspoon of matcha and 60ml of hot water at 80°C. First pour the water into the teacup to cool it to 80C°, then pour it into the tea bowl. Whisk vigorously for 15 seconds, forming an "M" shape. Add 1 or 2 ice cubes and stir lightly. It is ready!

Storage: once opened, keep closed and consume as soon as possible. Keep away from strong aromas, high temperatures and humidity.
