MARUMIYA - Furikake Tarako
Furikake is a condiment that is used by sprinkling it on hot rice. It is usually presented in the form of flakes and there are many different flavors. This furikake has a tarako taste.
Tarako is a very popular ingredient in Japanese cuisine, often eaten whole, in onigiri or as a sauce for pasta. It is plain and salted hake roe, an ingredient that resembles clumped fish eggs. Introduced to Japan after the Russo-Japanese war, hake roe originates from Alaska ("mentai" translates as "Alaska" and "ko" as "child").
The Marumiya brand is famous for its high quality furikake.
