Okonomiyaki is a Japanese dish consisting of a mixture of dough (egg, wheat flour and dashi), cabbage and various ingredients cooked together on a hot plate. There is no equivalent to this dish in Western countries. There are many variations of this dish within Japan itself, depending on the region. The best known are Osaka okonomiyaki, Hiroshima okonomiyaki and Tokyo monjayaki.

Jagariko is a range of potato chips made in the shape of French fries. They are offered in a variety of flavors, but always very original.

The Japanese company Calbee is one of Japan's most famous snack companies.
