Umeboshi are Japanese salted plums soaked in salt and shiso leaves. They are particularly appreciated by the Japanese for their salty and very acid taste.
These umeboshi were made traditionally, using plums and shiso grown in Wakayama Prefecture, without pesticides or chemical fertilizers. The plums were dried naturally in the sun. No preservatives or additives have been added to the umeboshi.
Made in Japan. 100% Japanese ingredients.
