Yokan is a traditional Japanese sweet pastry (wagashi) extremely popular in the Land of the Rising Sun. Made from red bean paste (azuki) gelled with agar-agar, this pastry is very similar to fruit paste.

Yokans are best enjoyed with a cup of Japanese tea.

The Usuzumi Youkan brand specialises in the production of yokans.

Made in Japan with 100% Japanese mandarins (Ehime) and red beans (Hokkaido). No additives.
